2020 Jeep Gladiator

Jeep hasn’t even confirmed the name of its new pickup truck, but over the past week we’ve learned that instead of being called the Scrambler, the pickup will be dubbed the Jeep Gladiator. We’re going to see the 2020 Jeep Gladiator later this month at the LA Auto Show, but the first photos have leaked online now.

Thanks to the guys over at JeepGladiatorForum.com we now have our first look at the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. At the front the 2020 Gladiator is basically identical to the Jeep Wrangler, but the rear gets a five-foot bed to haul all your gear. The Gladiator will be powered by the same 3.6L V6 as the Wrangler, which can be mated to either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The Gladiator will also be offered with a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6.

According to leaked documents, the Gladiator will be able to tow up to 7,600 pounds and will have a max payload of 1,600 pounds. Two four-wheel drive systems will be available as well.

The Jeep Gladiator will stand out from its other truck rivals thanks to its soft top, but if you prefer a hard top there will be two types available.

Stay tuned.
