This week Ford officially confirmed that the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will debut at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show in January and now we have a second teaser.

If you get a chance to get to the LA Auto Show you’ll a classic 1967 Shelby GT500 in a box at the show, which formally announces the 2020 model’s upcoming debut. Now Ford has released another teaser, which shows off its V8 engine.

With this latest teaser, Ford stated, “We have 500 reasons why you should love the GT500. Here’s the first one.”

Details are still scarce, but Ford has also confirmed that it will have more than 650 horsepower, which is a bit less horsepower than was earlier reported. It’s also expected that the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be powered by a 5.2L V8, which will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. A manual transmission is reportedly not planned.
