After teasing us for months with camouflaged photos of the e-tron prototype, Audi has revealed a whole slew of photos of the electric SUV’s interior. As expected the 2020 Audi e-tron’s interior will be packed with all of Audi’s latest tech features, including five digital screens.

While we wait for Audi to officially unveil the 2020 Audi e-tron, we can at least get an early look at the interior. The first thing you’ll notice are the 7-inch digital screens in the front doors, which are part of the virtual exterior mirrors, which replace conventional mirrors.

How do the virtual mirrors work? A small camera on each side of the e-tron feeds the display to the 7-inch OLED displays in the interior. The driver can enter different settings using the touchscreen function and zoom in or out. The image detail can be moved and the driver can choose from three views for different situations: highway driving, turning or parking. Now for the bad news: The virtual mirrors are illegal in the US, so don’t expect to see them offered on the US-spec e-tron.

The dashboard is packed with digital screens, including the Virtual Cockpit in front of the driver, the infotainment system and another screen for the climate controls. Audiophiles will also be happy with the 3D sound of the Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System. The audio system has 16 loudspeakers and an amplifier delivering up to 705 watts of power.

Audi says that the e-tron’s interior will have plenty of room for five passengers and their stuff thanks to 115-inch wheelbase, which is just a few inches shorter than the Q7.
