The 2020 Audi A5 and S5 have received a small facelift for the new model year, which Audi says is “now more attractive than ever.” Most buyers probably won’t be able to call out the updates, but they are there.
At the front the 2020 A5 now comes standard with LED headlights, but if you prefer something even more special, there are the optional Matrix LED headlights with rear LED taillights that feature dynamic turn signals. Buyers that opt for the Matrix LED headlights also get the laser lights.
There are two optional trim lines: advance and S line. Plus there are now 12 exterior color options, including the new District Green.
Inside the updated interior features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which replaces the rotary push-button system, while in front of the driver there’s the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, called the Audi Virtual Cockpit.
In Europe the 2020 A5 is available with four engine options. The 2020 S5 is now powered by a 3.0L turbodiesel with 342 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque, which gives it a 0-62 mph time under five seconds.
The updated 2020 A5 and S5 models will go on sale in Europe this fall, but Audi hasn’t announced when they will arrive in the US.
