Subaru has announced the updates to the 2019 Subaru Legacy and Outback models. Both the 2019 Legacy and Outback carry over into the new model year with small updates, with the biggest one being that the EyeSight driver assist technology is now standard. The EyeSight technology includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist.
Other updates to the 2019 Subaru Legacy and Outback include the addition of an overhead console shower light and dual front center console USB ports on base models and a standard auto-dimming rearview compass mirror on higher trim levels.
The 2019 Legacy and Outback are offered with a choice of two engines: the 175-hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine or the 256-hp 3.6-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine. Both engines are mated to a CVT and send the power to all four wheels via Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel drive system.
The 2019 Subaru Legacy starts at $23,430, while the 2019 Outback starts at $27,320 including the destination fees.
