Subaru has released the pricing for the 2019 Subaru Forester, which is going to arrive this fall. The fifth generation 2019 Forester starts at $25,270, which is only about $500 more than the starting price of the outgoing model with a CVT.
The 2019 Subaru Forester will be offered in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring trim levels. All versions are powered by the same 2.5-liter boxer engine with 182 hp and 176 lb-ft. that’s mated to a Lineartronic CVT. Sorry the manual transmission is now no longer offered. The 2019 Forester comes standard with all-wheel drive and it can tow up to 1,500 lbs. The 2019 Forester is rated at 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
The 2019 Forester comes standard with the EyeSight driver assist technology, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, dual USB ports, power windows and locks and a combination meter with LCD color display.
The new Sport trim is priced at $29,770 and gives the Forester a more aggressive look with its gloss black exterior accents on the fog light trim, rear gate and front grille. It also rides on black 18-inch wheels and a features a rear roof spoiler. The Forester Sport also gets orange accents on the black underguards and roof rail mounts and an orange Sport badge. The orange theme is also added to the stitching and accents on the inside of the 2019 Forester Sport. Lastly the Forester Sport gets an exclusive version of SI-DRIVE with Intelligent and Sport Sharp modes and the Lineartronic CVT features a 7-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle-shift control switches.
Pricing for the Forester Premium starts at $27,670, while the Forester Limited starts at $31,770 and the Forester Touring starts at $35,270 with the destination fees included.
