Mazda has announced that the all-new 2019 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback will arrive in March. The 2019 Mazda3 sedan will start at $21,000, while the more versatile hatchback starts at $23,600.
Both the 2019 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback are powered by a 2.5L Skyactiv-G engine that generates 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft. of torque that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is now optional as well, but sadly it’s only available with the automatic transmission.
Some of the standard features, include an 8.8-inch infotainment system, an eight speaker audio system, a 7-inch gauge cluster display, LED headlights and taillights, and an electronic parking brake. The 2019 Mazda3 sedan comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, cloth seats and power windows. The 2019 Mazda3 hatchback gets standard 18-inch wheels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leatherette seats, power windows, dual-zone climate control and rain sensing wipers.
To keep everyone safe, the the Mazda3 is available with the i-Activesense safety suite that adds automatic emergency braking, a blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control. The Mazda3 hatchback comes standard with the i-Activesense safety suite, while it’s optional on the sedan.
