Mazda has finally revealed the updates to the 2019 Mazda CX-5, which sees the introduction of a new top trim level and a turbocharged engine. The 2019 CX-5 Signature amps up not only the luxuriousness of the CX-5, but also adds some extra fun under the hood.
Mazda has decided to unveil the 2019 CX-5 Signature this weekend at the Seattle Auto Show. The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature is powered by a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine that generates 250 horsepower and 310 lb-ft. of torque. The engine is borrowed from the Mazda6 and CX-9 models and the good news is that it will be offered in both the Signature and Grand Touring Reserve trim levels. Mazda also tweaked the 2019 CX-5’s suspension and added the G-Vectoring Control Plus system.
Back to the CX-5 Signature, it has a more luxurious interior thanks to Caturra Brown Nappa leathe and real wood trim. The 2019 CX-5 lineup is also available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a reconfigurable 7.0-TFT gauge display, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, BOSE 10-speaker sound system, a head-up display unit and a 360° View Monitor with front and rear parking sensors.
The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature starts at $36,890.
