Hyundai has already revealed that it wants to add more emotion into the designs of its models and it looks like that’s what its done with the updated 2019 Elantra. These leaked photos reveal that the 2019 Hyundai Elantra is going to get big updates to its front and rear fascias.

At the front the 2019 Elantra gets a more angular look compared to the softer face on the current model. Its new triangular headlights also have a more dramatic shape and the grille now looks sharper. From the side, the 2019 Elantra looks pretty much the same, but at the rear the taillights and bumper have been restyled.

We’re still waiting for the official details, but in addition to posting these early photos, Almuraba is reporting that the 2019 Elantra will also get an updated infotainment system. There’s also the possibility that an Elantra plug-in hybrid or fully electric Elantra could be in the works, since spy photographers recently caught prototypes testing.
