GMC has announced the availability of a new Off-Road Performance Package for the 2019 GMC Sierra AT4.
The Off-Road Performance Package adds the 6.2L V-8 engine mated to 10-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, a Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System and a Performance Air Intake.
Thanks to the upgrades, the 6.2L V8 generates 435 horsepower and 469 lb-ft. of torque, which is 15 more horsepower and 9 more lb-ft of torque than the engine generates in the standard Sierra. The Off-Road Performance Package adds an additional $4,940 to the price of the Sierra AT4.
For a refresher, the Sierra AT4 is the most off-road ready version in the 2019 Sierra lineup thanks to a 2-inch lift; 4WD with a two-speed transfer case, locking rear differential and skid plates; off-road-tuned Rancho monotube shock absorbers; Hill Descent Control; and a Traction Select System.
