Ford has unveiled the updates to the 2019 Ford Fusion, which is debuting next week at the New York Auto Show. The biggest updates is that the 2019 Fusion is the first vehicle to get Ford’s new Co-Pilot360 driver-assist technology, while the 2019 Fusion Energi can now travel 20 percent further in electric mode.

The Co-Pilot360 suite includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot information system, lane keeping system, rear backup camera and auto high-beam lighting. Every Fusion will come standard with Co-Pilot360. Also every trim level besides the base 2019 Fusion S comes standard embedded 4G LTE modem providing Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices.

The 2019 Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid can now travel up to 25 miles in EV mode, which is a 20 percent improvement. The increased range is due to a new 9.0-kilowatt-hour air-cooled lithium-ion battery.

Lastly the 2019 Ford Fusion gets a few styling updates including a new grille, a new trunk lid panel, fog lamps and LED taillamps. There are also two new wheel options and a few new color options.
