Cadillac will reveal its new compact crossover – the 2019 XT4 this week at the New York Auto Show, but thanks to a leak we now have some of the early information about Cadillac’s newest model. Thanks to an official order guide that was caught by the team over at Cadillac Society, we now know what will power the 2019 Cadillac XT4 and what will be on the options list.
The compact 2019 XT4 will be powered by a new 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder with 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 lb-ft. at 1,500-4,000 rpm. The four-cylinder will be mated to a standard nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and front-wheel drive will be standard. A twin clutch all-wheel drive system will be optional. To suit each driver’s tastes there will be different driving modes and a Continuous Damping Control Active Sport Chassis will be available.
Inside the 2019 XT4 will offer “segment-leading” second row leg room and knee clearance. Some of the options include, wireless charging, an air ionizer, Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound, a Hands-Free Liftgate, and massage seating. To assist the driver, the 2019 XT4 is available with a Rear Camera Mirror, HD Surround Vision and Head-Up Display.
