BMW is going to reveal the 2019 BMW X7 SUV later this year, but it’s still currently wrapping up its last round of tests. BMW has taken camouflaged 2019 X7 prototypes all over the world to see how well the new flagship SUV performs in the most extreme conditions.

Earlier this year the 2019 BMW X7 proved how capable it is during winter test drives on snow and ice at the edge of the polar circle, which were then followed by long-distance endurance tests on desert and gravel tracks under the South African sun. Of course most BMW X7 owners won’t ever take their X7 through snow or extreme desert conditions, but instead most will do duty in hectic stop-and-go-traffic in the urban jungle, so BMW also tested the X7 there as well with dynamic load tests on winding country roads and highways.

The 2019 BMW X7 will debut by the end of the year, which means that we’ll likely see it debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The X7 will also be produced at BMW’s Spartanburg plant in South Carolina. If you can’t wait to see what the 2019 BMW X7 will look like, a batch of patent images have already leaked online.
