It’s been 20 years since the Audi TT debuted in 1998. The TT is now in its third generation and to celebrate the big birthday, the 2019 Audi TT is getting a refresh.
The refreshed 2019 Audi TT gets some small exterior updates to give it a more masculine and aggressive look. This includes the updated Singleframe grille and larger side air inlets at the front. If you choose the S Line package it also adds a front splitter, vertical air inlets, a blacked out grille, a wider rear diffuser and vertical air inlets below the taillights.
Buyers can choose wheel designs ranging in size from 17-inches to 20-inches. There are also three new color options for 2019: cosmos blue, pulse orange and turbo blue.
The 2019 TT is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four cylinder but with three different outputs. The base version generates 197 hp in the 40 TFSI, while in the 45 TFSI model the 2.0L engine generates 245 hp. The 2019 Audi TTS packs 306 hp and 285 lb-ft. of torque. The TTS Coupe reaches 62 mph in 4.5 seconds, while the TTS Roadster takes 4.8 seconds.
The 2019 TT can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or a new seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.
Inside the 2019 TT now comes standard with the Audi virtual cockpit,the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, a rain and light sensor, heated exterior mirrors, the multifunction steering wheel plus, and illuminated USB ports.
