The 2019 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid officially goes on sale starting tomorrow and Acura has announced that the pricing will start at $53,795, including the destination fees. The 2019 MDX Sport Hybrid carries over into the new model year with the only updates being some new color options and interior wood.
The 2019 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid gets a few enhancements, including driver and front-passenger 4-way power lumbar support, Desert Olive Ash wood highlights, new seat and door panel stitching, and matching wood center console trim for Advance Package models. There are four new exterior color options as well: Gunmetal Metallic, Majestic Black Pearl, Performance Red Pearl and Canyon Bronze Metallic.
The 2019 MDX Sport Hybrid is powered by a 3.0L V6 engine and three-motor Sport Hybrid Super Handling-All Wheel Drive system that generates a total 321 horsepower and 289 lb-ft. of torque. The hybrid system is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and at the rear the two electric motors power the rear wheels independently of the gasoline engine. The 2019 MDX Sport Hybrid is rated at 26 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
