Acura has announced the pricing for the updated 2019 Acura ILX, which starts at $26,895 with the destination fees included. The 2019 Acura ILX isn’t all-new, but everything from the A-pillars forward, has been redesigned, which also includes the addition of Acura’s Diamond Pentagon grille.
In addition to the new face, the 2019 Acura ILX also gets an updated rear fascia with new LED taillights, a redesigned decklid and a new lower diffuser. The exterior updates are finished off with new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels.
For buyers that want a sportier look, the 2019 Acura ILX A-Spec adds a dark chrome trim to the front grille and lower fascia, LED fog lights, darkened headlights and taillights, and a gloss-black decklid spoiler. The ILX A-Spec rides on unique 18-inch Shark Gray wheels. Inside the ILX A-Spec also gets sport seats that are wrapped in either Ebony or Red leather with black Ultrasuede center panels and high contrast stitching.
Inside the 2019 ILX gets an updated dual display that now offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The 2019 ILX also comes standard with the AcuraWatch suite of active safety and driver-assistive technology, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning.
The 2019 ILX is powered by a 2.4L four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower, that’s mated to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The 2019 ILX is rated at 24 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.
