Porsche is expanding the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman lineup with the debut of the 2018 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS and 718 Cayman GTS. The GTS versions of the 7187 Boxster and 718 Cayman now sit at the top of the lineup with a bit more power than the 718 S models.

Both 718 GTS models are powered by the turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder boxer engine that generates 365 horsepower. That’s 15 more horsepower than the 718 S and 35 more horsepower than the old GTS models. The turbocharged engine also generates 317 lb-ft. of torque. Buyers can choose either a six-speed manual or the optional PDK transmission.

The both the 718 Boxster GTS and 718 Cayman GTS come standard with the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring with a mechanical rear differential lock and the Porsche Active Suspension Management, which lowers the body by ten millimeters.

With the PDK and Sport Chrono Package, the 718 GTS models reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and have a top speed of 180 mph.

Visually the 718 GTS models stand out from the other 718 models with a sportier front bumper, black-tinted Bi-Xenon headlights, black logos, black-tinted taillights, a tweaked rear bumper and black tailpipes. The GTS models finish off the “black” look with 20-inch black wheels.

Inside the seats get the addition of Alcantara with GTS logos on the headrests. Alcantara has also been added to the steering wheel, center console and armrests.

And now for the pricing. The 718 Cayman GTS starts at $80,850 with destination, while the 718 Boxster GTS starts at $82,950. Both models will arrive at dealers by March 2018, but you can place your order now.
