Last month Mitsubishi revealed the Eclipse Cross SUV, which is the first all-new Mitsubishi in years. We’ll still have to wait a bit until an all-new Outlander or Outlander Sport arrives, but Mitsubishi is giving the 2018 Outlander Sport a small facelift.

On the outside, the 2018 Outlander Sport gets new front and rear bumper, plus LED running lights to mask how old the Outlander Sport is now. There’s also a new exterior color, Alloy Silver. Inside, the interior receives a 7-inch audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a redesigned floor console and a new shift lever.
A new optional Touring Package adds a panoramic roof and advanced safety and technology features including Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic High Beam, a rear camera and noise vibration harshness upgrades to give it a quieter interior.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will arrive this fall, but will have its public debut next week at the New York Auto Show.
Mitsubishi hasn’t announced when the new Eclipse Cross will arrive in the U.S., but Europe will the first market to get it.
