While it’s not all-new, the 2018 Mazda6 did receive a pretty big refresh that not only includes new styling, but the availability of a turbocharged four-cylinder. Mazda has announced that the pricing for the 2018 Mazda6 will start at $22,840 when the midsize sedan arrives at dealers next month.
On the outside the biggest changes are at the front where the 2018 Mazda6 has a received a restyled front fascia. The interior of the 2018 Mazda6 has been upgraded with available Nappa leather and Japanese Sen wood. Under the hood buyers can choose from either the 187-hp 2.5L four-cylinder or the more exciting 250-hp turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder. The naturally-aspirated 2.5L can be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, but sadly the turbocharged engine only gets the automatic.
The 2018 Mazda6 is available Sport, Touring, Grand Touring and Signature trim levels. Pricing ranges from $22,840 for the base Mazda6 Sport to $35,640 for the Mazda6 Signature.
