The Lexus CT 200h is officially leaving the United States at the end of the 2017 model year, but there are other markets that will get the hybrid hatchback a bit longer. To keep it a little up to date, Lexus has given the 2018 Lexus CT 200h a slight facelift.

From the front the 2018 CT 200h now has a more aggressive front fascia with a new mesh pattern for the spindle grille. The fog light bezels are now painted metallic grey and are surrounded by an outer frame with a triangular cross-section and sharper edges. Lastly the “arrowhead” DRLs have been repositioned above the headlamps.

The rear of the CT 200h gets reshaped “L”-signature shaped taillights, while the lower part of the rear bumper is now metallic silver and black, and reshaped. Inside the CT 200h now has a larger 10.3-inch display screen for the navigation system, which replaces the old 7.0-inch screen.

“The CT 200h has been refreshed and revitalized by enhancing its progressiveness. Its updated design is more emotional and sporty, making it the ideal premium hybrid compact for younger customers who enjoy spirited driving, but still care about the environment,” said Chika Kako, the Chief Engineer of the CT 200h.

Although the CT 200h is about to become a memory in the United States, buyers that want a small Lexus hybrid will hopefully like the upcoming UX compact SUV.
