Lamborghini is bringing the 2018 Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The 2018 Aventador S Roadster debuts with updated front and rear styling and most importantly – more power.
The Aventador S Roadster is powered by a 6.5L V12 that generates 740 horsepower and 508 lb-ft. of torque. That power from the V12 is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed transmission and standard four-wheel drive system. The roadster reaches 62 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph.
The updated styling also brings some new aerodynamic updates, like its new active rear wing. The Aventador S Roadster’s adjustable rear wing improves downforce by 130 percent and also improves efficiency by up to 400 percent.
The Aventador S Roadster’s four driving modes allows selection of Strada, Sport Corsa and the new Ego mode. The new Ego mode allows the driver to set up his preferred criteria in each mode to suit his driving style.
Pricing for the 2018 Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster starts at $460,247 and the first deliveries are scheduled to arrive in February 2018.
