Although the all-new Honda Accord has been available for a few months, Honda is now finally ready to release the 2018 Accord Hybrid. The 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid arrives at dealers later this month with its pricing starts at $25,990.
The 2018 Accord Hybrid is powered by the third generation of Honda’s two-motor hybrid powertrain, which pairs a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine to an electric propulsion motor. The hybrid system generates 212 horsepower and 232 lb-ft. of torque. Just like the last generation, the Accord Hybrid operates without the need for a conventional automatic transmission. The 2018 Accord Hybrid is rated at 47 mpg city, 47 mpg highway and 47 mpg combined, which is actually less fuel efficient than the last generation. The last Accord Hybrid was rated at 49 mpg city, 47 mpg highway and 48 mpg combined.
The 2018 Accord Hybrid is available in five trim levels: Hybrid, EX , EX-L, EX-L Navi, and Touring. Pricing starts at $25,990, which reflects a $4,505 drop compared to the previous model. The Accord Hybrid comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, dual-zone climate control, Smart entry with Push-button Start, a 7-inch TFT digital driver’s meter, a rearview camera, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
