The standard engine will be the same 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder that powers the Civic and CR-V, while the more powerful 2.0L four-cylinder engine is borrowed from the Civic Type R. The two four-cylinders can be mated to either a new 10-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual. The hybrid will get a standard CVT.
