The next-generation Aston Martin Vantage is going to be unveiled this month, which most likely means that we’ll get to see it at the upcoming LA Auto Show. Following last week’s teaser, Aston Martin has released a second teaser photo of the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage.
This second teaser now shows what the we can expect from the front of the new Vantage, although it’s still covered by a sheet. All that we can make out here are the outline of the headlights, but not much else.
The new Vantage will be based on a shortened version of the DB11’s platform. The 2018 Vantage will not only be lighter than its predecessor, but also more rigid. The first model to arrive will be the Vantage V8 with its Mercedes-AMG sourced 4.0L V8 that will generate around 500 horsepower.
With around 70 more horsepower than the current Vantage, we can expect the 0-62 mph time to get closer to 4.0 seconds with a top speed close to 200 mph. If you want more power, the V12 version with its 5.2L V12 will be added later.
