From the front the new V40 is getting the same Thor’s Hammer T-Shaped headlights as the new XC90, S90 and V90. The new V40 also gets a new grille with a more visually striking Volvo Iron Mark. The other updates, include five new colors and new alloy wheel designs.
Inside the 2017 V40 gets a new upholstery called City Weave, which will be added along with a new Charcoal/Blond steering wheel option. Several new interior panel trims are also to be offered: Milled Aluminum, Black Grid Aluminum and Stealth Aluminum.
The refreshed V40 will arrive later this year, but the U.S. will have to wait until the next-generation V40, which is expected to arrive by the end of the decade.
