2017 Kia Sportage interior revealed

We’re getting close to the kick off of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and this year Kia’s big reveal is the all-new fourth-generation Sportage. Last week Kia revealed the 2017 Sportage’s exterior and now Kia has revealed the new Sportage’s upgraded interior.

We’re getting close to the kick off of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and this year Kia’s big reveal is the all-new fourth-generation Sportage. Last week Kia revealed the 2017 Sportage’s exterior and now Kia has revealed the new Sportage’s upgraded interior.

The 2017 Sportage’s interior gets a complete redo with higher quality materials and new technologies to improve comfort, convenience, connectivity and safety. You’ll also notice that the interior is now a bit sportier with new touches, like the flat-bottomed steering wheel and a more driver-oriented center console.

On the outside, the 2017 Sportage now has a bolder design, which starts at the front with the latest version of Kia’s Tiger Nose grille. The exterior has been stretched by 40 mm, with most of that extra length going between the wheels, since the wheelbase is now 30 mm longer.

Under the hood, most of the engines carry over from the current model, but a there’s a new 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 177 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. of torque.
