2017 Kia Soul Turbo adds more power and better fuel economy

Kia is adding a bit more sport to the Soul with the debut of the 2017 Kia Soul Exclaim, which is powered by a 201-horsepower turbocharged engine.

Kia is adding a bit more sport to the Soul with the debut of the 2017 Kia Soul Exclaim, which is powered by a 201-horsepower turbocharged engine. Even though the new turbocharged 1.6L engine packs 40 more horsepower than the non-turbocharged 2.0L, it’s more fuel efficient with a 28 mpg combined rating.

In addition to the turbocharged engine, the Soul Exclaim sends its power to the ground via a new 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. The Exclaim also gets special trim, exclusive 18-inch wheels, red-accented body trim, chrome grille surround, unique badging and a dual chrome twin-tip exhaust.

Inside the Soul Exclaim gets a leather-wrapped, D-shaped steering wheel, push button start with smart key, integrated Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 315-watt Harman Kardon audio system.
