The Hyundai Elantra Sport will reportedly be powered by a 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder with 200 horsepower. A six-speed manual will be standard, but a dual-clutch transmission will also be available. The Elantra Sport will also get an independent rear suspension. There’s a possibility that the Elantra GT hatchback could also get the turbocharged 1.6L, but Hyundai is going to wait and see how well the sedan version is received first.
