From the front, the updated A3 gets a new grille, headlights and a more aggressive bumper. Matrix LED headlights are now optional and there are five new exterior colors to choose from, which brings the total up to 12. The rear also gets updated with new taillights and restyled bumper.

Inside the interior mostly remains unchanged, but there is a new steering wheel and most importantly, Audi’s virtual cockpit with its 12.3-inch display is optional. A 7-inch display still rises from the center of the dash to give drivers access to the MMI system. One other cool new tech feature is the optional traffic jam assist system that will automatically drive the A3 up to 40 mph and automatically sets the vehicle in motion again after a short stop.
Under the hood there are several options for buyers in Europe that includes a new 115-hp 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder and a new 1.6-liter turbodiesel with 110 horsepower. The 2.0L TFSI engine generates 190 horsepower and there’s still the 204-horsepower A3 e-tron. If you need more power, the S3 is powered by a 310-hp 2.0L.
The revised A3 and S3 models will start arriving in some markets starting next month, but Audi has not announced when it will go on sale in the U.S.
