2016 Mitsubishi Outlander gets a lower starting price

In total the 2016 Outlander has received over 100 engineering and design improvements, but the best part is that the new Outlander is now cheaper with a starting price that is $200 lower at $22,995.

Mitsubishi is giving the 2016 Outlander a long list of improvements, including updated styling that now aligns with the automaker’s new design language. In total the 2016 Outlander has received over 100 engineering and design improvements, but the best part is that the new Outlander is now cheaper with a starting price that is $200 lower at $22,995.

The 2016 Outlander now comes standard with new LED positioning lights, 18-in. alloy wheels, LED taillights, and a reconfigured interior including a redesigned steering wheel, improved second-row seating, accent trim, seating surfaces and headliner. Mitsubishi has also lowered the price for safety systems, like Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control.

“The 2016 Outlander has a dynamic new design and a long list of engineering upgrades–it literally looks, drives and feels like an entirely new vehicle,” said MMNA Executive Vice President, Don Swearingen. “Despite all of the improvements to the vehicle, we made the starting MSRP lower than the previous model year to make it an even more compelling value than before and to attract new buyers to the brand.”
