Honda has revealed all the details about the 2016 HR-V compact SUV, which will officially go on sale on May 15. Pricing for the 2016 HR-V starts at $19,115 (plus $880 destination).

The 2016 HR-V is available in LX, EX and EX-L Navi trim levels and it’s powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder engine with 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft. of torque. The 1.8L can be mated to either a CVT or 6-speed manual transmission. AWD is also available with the CVT. The most efficient version will be the front-wheel-drive with the CVT that is rated at 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, while the manual version is slightly less fuel-efficient at 25/ 34 mpg. The all-wheel-drive HR-V is rated at 27/32 mpg.

2016 Honda HR-V

The HR-V LX comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, an electric parking brake, rearview camera, 160-watt audio system with a 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and power windows and locks. The EX starts at $21,165 and adds a 7-inch touchscreen, 180-watt audio system, heated front seats, smart entry and Push-Button start, paddle shifters for the CVT, a moonroof and automatic climate control. The EX-L Navi trim starts at $24,590 and adds leather seats, a navigation system, SiriusXM and roof rails.
