Audi has released the first official teaser photo of the next-generation 2016 R8, which will be offered with optional laser headlights. The new R8’s headlights can be equipped with LEDs for the standard daytime running lights and headlights with a laser spot as the high‑beam headlight.

Thankfully the teaser photo reveals more than just the new headlights as we can see part of the front bumper and also sort of make out its side profile. Last week a leaked photo of an uncloaked R8 was posted on Instagram, which aligns with Audi’s latest teaser photo.
The 2016 R8 will have its world debut next month at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
