VW has released a teaser of the eighth-generation 2015 Passat that will be sold in Europe and various other markets, but not in North America, which has a completely different Passat.
The teaser photo shows the 2015 Passat draped in a cloth to cover most of the 2015 Passat’s details. What we can see is new LED headlights and prominent character lines. The 2015 Passat will be based on VW’s new MQB platform, which will help it come in at about 187 pounds lighter than the current Passat.
The 2015 Passat is expected to debut sometime in July ahead of its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
