Land Rover has taken the wraps off the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR, which is the first Land Rover to wear the high-performance SVR badge. The Range Rover Sport SVR is Land Rover’s answer to other high-performance SUVs, like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG.
The Range Rover Sport SVR is powered by a 5.0L supercharged V8 with 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft. of torque that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. With 550-hp on tap, the Range Rover Sport SVR will reach 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 162 mph. The Range Rover Sport SVR is still a few ticks slower than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, which can reach 0-60 mph in as little as 4.1 seconds.

Inside it gets unique leather seats that are in Oxford leather with ribbed, quilted centers, Ebony Black top stitching, reflective piping, and all feature the Range Rover Sport SVR logo. Four interior color options are available: Ebony Black; Ebony Black and Cirrus White; Ebony Black and Pimento Red; Ebony Black and Tan.
