Porsche has announced that the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder is even faster than Porsche initially thought it was. Porsche recently completed the final tuning measures and the result is that the 918 Spyder is now even faster.
It now only takes 2.5 seconds for the 918 Spyder to reach 0-60 mph, which is .2 seconds faster than originally posted. With the Weissach package, it accelerates from 0-124 mph on the track in 7.2 seconds and it only takes 19.9 seconds to reach 186 mph.
Using only the electric motors allows the 918 Spyder to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.2 seconds, without producing any emissions. With the Weissach package fitted, this electric sprinting time is reduced to 6.1 seconds.
