Mitsubishi has revealed several updates for the 2015 Outlander Sport, with the biggest update being an improved CVT.
The Outlander Sport is powered by a 148-hp 2.0L four-cylinder engine that is now mated to a next-generation CVT transmission, which Mitsubishi says its performance is equivalent to a 7-speed transmission. A five-speed manual is optional as well as an all-wheel-drive system. Thanks to the updated CVT, the 2015 Outlander Sport’s fuel economy has improved at 25 mpg city/32 mpg highway (2WD models) and 24 mpg city/30 mpg highway (4WD models).
