A few photos of the all-new 2015 Mazda2 or Demio as it’s known in Japan, have leaked online ahead of its official debut later this year. Mazda originally previewed the new Mazda2 with the Hazumi concept earlier this year and from these photos, we can see that the most of the concept’s styling details have transferred to the production version.
Looking like a smaller version of the Mazda3 hatchback, the 2015 Mazda2 is more stylish than the outgoing model. Inside the Mazda2’s styling is toned down significantly from the Hazumi concept, but it does feature a dash mounted touchscreen like the Mazda3.

Under the hood we can expect Mazda’s new SkyActiv engines and transmissions, in the form of a 1.5L gas and diesel engine. The 1.5L gas engine will generate 100 horsepower and 111 lb-ft. of torque, while the diesel engine will have 103 horsepower and 184 lb-ft.
