Lincoln has announced revised specs for the 2015 Lincoln MKC crossover. The MKC will be available with two turbocharged EcoBoost engines, a 240-hp 2.0L and a 285-hp 2.3L.
Lincoln has announced revised specs for the 2015 Lincoln MKC crossover. The MKC will be available with two turbocharged EcoBoost engines, a 240-hp 2.0L and a 285-hp 2.3L. Lincoln previously reported that the 2.3L EcoBoost would make 275-hp, but thanks to some last minute tweaks, Lincoln was able to squeeze out a bit more power.
Tested with 93-octane fuel, the 2.3L EcoBoost achieves 285 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 305 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,750 rpm. The 2.3L EcoBoost has an EPA-estimated rating of 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway/21 mpg combined, while the 2.0L is rated at 20 mpg city/29 mpg highway/23 mpg combined. The all-wheel-drive 2.0L is rated at 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway/22 mpg combined.

The 2015 MKC starts at $33,995, which is significantly cheaper than the Audi Q5 and BMW X3.
