Dodge has announced the pricing for the updated 2015 Dodge Charger, including the one that everyone wants – the 707-hp Charger SRT Hellcat. Pricing for the base Charger SE starts at $28,990, while the Charger SXT starts at $30,990 and the top dog Charger SRT Hellcat will set you back $64,990.
The Charger SE is powered by a 292-hp V6 that is mated to a eight-speed transmission, while the Charger R/T gets a 370-hp 5.7L V8 and the R/T Scat Pack model is powered by a 485-hp V8. The top Charger SRT Hellcat gets a supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 with 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque.
“The Dodge Charger is a performance car that carves its own niche and cuts straight through the segments and perceptions of what a full-size sedan can or should be,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO – Dodge and SRT. “With the new 2015 Charger, we’re pushing the boundaries of what a full-size sedan can or should be even further. We’ve seriously modernized the look and feel and added a standard eight-speed transmission across the lineup. The Charger is now tighter, leaner and more athletic, without sacrificing the proportions, performance, driving dynamics, attitude and price that attracted customers in the first place.”
