Chevrolet has announced that it will reveal the 2015 Corvette Z06 next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. While we don’t know what will be under the hood, Chevrolet does claim that it will be the most track-capable Corvette ever, “designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.”
What can we expect? It’s been reported that the Corvette Z06 will get a supercharged version of the 6.2L V8 that powers the Corvette Stingray. There are rumors that it will pack around 650 horsepower, which is more than the last Corvette ZR1. Speaking of the ZR1, the next ZR1 may pack around 700 horsepower.
