It’s being reported that the Cadillac ATS-V is going to be powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 with 425 horsepower that will get a new seven-speed manual transmission in addition to an eight-speed automatic.
There are several reports coming out about the upcoming 2015 Cadillac ATS-V, the high-performance and much hotter version of the compact ATS. It’s being reported that the ATS-V is going to be powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 with 425 horsepower that will get a new seven-speed manual transmission in addition to an eight-speed automatic.
We already knew an ATS-V was in the works, but a new report claims that Cadillac is workig on an even hotter version, dubbed the ATS-V+, which will get a more powerful V8. The ATS-V+ could borrow the new LT4 V8 from the Corvette Z06, but is probably two years away.
The ATS-V is also reportedly going to get a new dual-clutch transmission in addition to the seven-speed manual and eight-speed automatic. So what does that mean for the next CTS-V? The CTS-V may get a twin-turbocharged LT1 V8.
