Although we’re eager to see the 2015 BMW M3 and M4 at the Detroit Auto Show in a few weeks, it’s being reported that another new BMW is going to debut just a few months later. The 2015 BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe is going to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The 4-Series Gran Coupe is basically a smaller version of the 6-Series Gran Coupe and shares its platform with the 3-Series and 4-Series models. The 4-Series Gran Coupe will have the same overall length and wheelbase as the 4-Series coupe, but it will get a taller roof and shorter front doors.
The 2015 4-Series Gran Coupe will be offered in the same 428i and 435i versions as the coupe, which means that the 428i Gran Coupe will get a 240-hp 2.0L turbo, while the 435i Gran Coupe makes due with a 300-hp 3.0L turbocharged engine. An M4 Gran Coupe is also expected with the same 425-hp 3.0L turbocharged engine as the M3 sedan and M4 coupe.
