The 2014 Cherokee rides on the same Alfa Romeo platform as the Dodge Dart and will be offered in both front and all-wheel-drive versions. Buyers will be able to choose from a 184-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine or a 271-hp 3.2L Pentastar V6. The 2014 Cherokee also gets a new nine-speed transmission and since it still is a Jeep, there will be three different all-wheel-drive systems offered.
