The 2014 Hyundai Tucson is getting a refresh, which includes new engines, more technology and a light restyle. The big news is that the 2014 Tucson gets new 2.0L and 2.4L four-cylinder direct-injection engines. The new 2.0L generates 164 horsepower and 151 lb-ft. of torque, while the 2.4L has 182 horsepower and 177 lb-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
On the outside the 2014 Tucson gets new projector headlights with LED accents and available LED taillights. The 2014 Tucson also gets new standard 17-inch and optional 18-inch alloy wheels. The updates to the interior are small with a new reclining split rear seat, floor console mounted rear vents and new interior colors.
The Tucson is also gets standard Blue Link and Hyundai Assurance Connected Care on the Limited trim level and the available navigation system is now a third-generation system with a larger seven-inch touchscreen. If you don’t choose the navigation system you get a standard 4.3-inch touchscreen with a rearview camera on SE and Limited models.
