Honda has unveiled the all-new 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, which will arrive in showrooms in October. Unlike the Accord plug-in hybrid, the Accord Hybrid gets styling that is closer to the regular Accord models. Honda also anticipates that it will get up to 49 mpg in the city.

The Accord Hybrid is powered by a two-motor hybrid system that pairs a 2.0L four-cylinder engine to a 124-kilowatt electric motor. The lithium-ion battery has enough power to power the Accord Hybrid in electric-only mode in lower speeds and in medium to high speed cruising. Honda estimates that the Accord Hybrid will be rated at 49 mpg in the city, 45 mpg in the city and have a 47 mpg combined rating.
