Cadillac has announced that the 2014 Cadillac XTS will be available with the same twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 as the new 2014 Cadillac CTS. Even though the XTS is available with the same engine, its output will be slightly less than the CTS at 410 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque. The turbocharged engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and on the outside the turbocharged XTS will get a unique grille and deck lid badging.
The standard engine in the 2014 XTS will continue to be the 304-hp V6. Other updates for 2014 include new automatic parking assist and electric power steering for front-wheel-drive models. The interior also gets a new available rear-seat entertainment system with twin DVD screens, available front passenger seat memory feature, a revised rear-seat armrest and an opaque sunroof sunshade.
The 2014 XTS is offered in a well-equipped standard model and three optional collections: Luxury, Premium and Platinum.
