Following last week’s first teaser photos of the 2013 Dodge Dart, Chrysler has released new details about what we can expect on the inside of the new compact sedan.
The 2013 Dodge Dart will be officially unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show on January 9. According to Chrysler the Dodge Dart will have an interior that is made with materials and technology typically found in more expensive vehicle segments. The overall design of the interior is focused on the driver, which means that the all the controls are within easy reach of the driver.
The 2013 Dart will feature an interior that is as spacious as a midsize sedan with 14 interior color and trim combinations. The Dart will get a seven-inch color Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display in the middle of the instrument panel that allows the driver to switch back and forth between different display models. The center stack in the Dart can be equipped with Chrysler’s UConnect infotainment system, which in the Dart features an 8.4-inch touchscreen, the largest touchscreen in its class.
The Dart will be available with 12 exterior colors, six wheel options in addition to the three engine options and three transmissions. Safety is also a priority with 10 standard airbags and available Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection.
