Audi has officially unveiled the 2013 Audi RS4 Avant. The third-generation RS4 Avant is powered by a 4.2L V8 with 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft. of torque that is mated to a seven-speed transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system.

The RS4 Avant is powered by the same engine as the RS5 coupe. It reaches 0-62 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a governed top speed of 155 mph, which can be increased up to 174 mph. Compared to the 2013 Audi A4 Avant, the RS4 Avant rides 20 millimeters lower and on 19-inch ten-spoke aluminum wheels. 20-inch wheels are optional.

Inside the RS4 Avant is completely black, with the exception of the roofliner, which is optionally available in Moon Silver. Carbon inlays are standard, with brushed matte aluminum, Aluminum Race, black piano finish or a light stainless steel mesh available as options. Nappa leather covers the seats in either black or mood silver. A driver information system includes an RS menu with a lap timer and an oil thermometer.

Delivery of the Audi RS4 Avant is scheduled to begin in fall 2012 at a base price of €76,600 in Germany. Don’t count on it coming to the U.S., unfortunately.
