Peugeot has unveiled the 2012 Peugeot 508 RXH diesel hybrid ahead of its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.
The 508 RXH is powered by Peugeot’s 2.0 l HDi FAP HYbrid4 drive train. The combination of the 2.0L diesel engine and the electric motor puts a total 200 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. The hybrid system is mated to a four-wheel-drive system and is capable of traveling in full electric mode. According to Peugeot, the 508 RXH gets drinks less than 4.2 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers in the combined cycle and emits 109g/km of CO2.
The 2012 Peugeot 508 RXH diesel hybrid will go on sale in spring 2012.
