The all-new 2012 Honda CR-V is expected in showrooms before the end of the year, but Honda has yet to officially unveil the new crossover. Honda gave us a preview of the new CR-V with the CR-V concept back in July, but we most likely won’t see the production model until we get closer to the LA Auto Show in November. Until then the official patent drawings of the new CR-V have been uncovered, which officially shows off the final design. 
These patent drawings show a CR-V that is pretty close to the concept, which is an evolution of the current CR-V. Honda hasn’t released any official specs for the new CR-V, although it’s expected to only be powered by a revised of the current four-cylinder engine with front or all-wheel-drive.
